Smile Precure made its grand debut on February 2012 on TV Asahi. Smile Precure was produced by Toei Animation under the direction of Takashi Otsuka and Atsutoshi Umezawa as the leading producer for the entire series. Smile Precure is actually the ninth installment of the sensationally epic Pretty Cure series. Smile Pretty Cure or more commonly known in its abbreviated form as Smile Precure is a Japanese magical girl anime series written by none other than Shoji Yonemura, the man behind big hit shows like Pokemon, Berserk and Kamen Rider Kabuto.
